Welcome Home, Melbourne
Boy-oh-boy, we cannot wait to be back in your arms this October! We can already feel the buzz from here. With over 260 incredible makers and designers ready to fill your tote bags (and your hearts), expect a weekend brimming with creativity, community, and connection.
We’re back at the one-and-only Royal Exhibition Building in Carlton Gardens, Narrm, from 10–12 October 2025. So, what’s in store? Let us take you through it…

Our Residents (The Lineup)
Your stallholder lineup is now live (right here) and waiting for you to start your shopping list. This season’s curation is all about home. Not just the spaces we live in, but the people, objects, and ideas that make us feel truly welcome. Expect to meet a mix of fresh faces and returning favourites, each chosen because they bring something unique, purposeful, and beautifully made.
Guest Showcase Dowel Jones
Melbourne, we’re excited to introduce a brand-new curated showcase of vessels and vases, curated by the talented Dale Hardiman of bespoke Australian furniture company Dowel Jones and proudly supported by contemporary art organisation Craft.
This special project will shine a light on the beauty of the handmade and celebrate objects that feel both everyday and extraordinary. Think of it as a love letter to the vessels that hold our flowers, our food, and sometimes even our memories, pieces that quietly make a house feel like home.
The Design Files – be first to grab issue 3 of their mag!
For the very first time, you can pick up the latest issue of The Design Files magazine in person at our market! Australia’s most loved design magazine will have a charming stand where you can get your copy, say hello to the team, and meet the talented folks behind the stories.
It’s such a perfect match because The Design Files has always celebrated the way we live – from our homes and gardens that ground us, to the art, design, and food that fill our lives with meaning. Just like our market’s theme of ‘Home’, shining a spotlight on creativity and community, we’re thrilled to welcome them home to the market.

Live Music to Make You Feel at Home
Because what’s a market without a little groove?
This October, we’ve curated a lineup of local artists and DJs to set the perfect mood as you wander, shop, and connect. Friday kicks off with DJs to lift your spirits and get your feet moving, while Saturday and Sunday bring mellow live sets from local bands and musicians.
Whether you’re dancing it out at the stage or curling up on a lounge with a drink in hand, our music lineup is here to make your time feel easy, joyful, and oh-so-homey.

One self-portrait, please!
Melbourne, you asked, and we listened. The brilliant Eleonora Arosio is back by popular demand, sketching quick-fire 3-minute portraits across all three days of the market.
Here’s the deal: dress up, bring a mate, when you arrive at the market, scan the QR code, and add your name to the waitlist, then go soak up the market magic. When it’s your turn, you’ll get a text to come back for your moment with Eleonora. Simple, fun, and the perfect keepsake to hang on your wall at home.
Our Mindfulness Mural by Pink Wattle
This season, our Mindfulness Mural invites you to slow down, pick up a pen, and add your own colour to a scene that celebrates the very heart of Melbourne: its homes.
The mural is designed by Parul, the vibrant visual artist behind Pink Wattle. Originally from Jaipur, India – the “Pink City” – Parul brings her heritage and her love of urban landscapes into her art, blending nostalgia and modernity with every stroke. Now based in Melbourne, she’s become known for her dreamy digital works capturing the architectural charm of the city’s iconic houses, cafés, and neighbourhood landmarks.
Take a moment to pause, add colour, and contribute to this collective artwork. Together, we’ll craft a mural that honours our bonds – linking us to the place, to each other, and to the very concept of home.

Indigenous Program: Our Songlines
This October, we proudly continue our Indigenous Program, shining a light on First Nations makers, voices, and creativity. It’s an honour to celebrate and share these stories as an integral part of our market home.
We are so proud to introduce Our Songlines, an initiative dedicated to making Aboriginal culture accessible to everyone in a supportive and safe environment.
Market visitors are invited to experience the ancient art of weaving, a practice that has been passed down through Aboriginal women for thousands of years. More than a technique, weaving is a mindfulness ritual: slowing down, working with natural materials, and creating something imbued with pride and meaning.
Regional Program Spotlight: Myrtle & Me
This season, we’re excited to launch our new Regional Program and welcome its first recipients, the Tasmanian makers behind Myrtle & Me.
The Regional Program was created to open more doors for rural and remote creatives, from designers and artists to foodies and collectives, giving them the chance to share their work with the vibrant Finders Keepers community. Our mission?
- Create more opportunities for regional stallholders to access our design markets.
- Bring more diversity to our events and better connect city visitors with rural creativity.
- Expand our community to celebrate and support makers right across Australia.
And that’s exactly where Myrtle & Me comes in. Founded in the lush Meander Valley of Tasmania by husband-and-wife duo Jocelyn and Michael, Myrtle & Me is a jewellery brand inspired by the beauty of the natural world. Jocelyn’s nature photography forms the heart of each handcrafted piece, capturing delicate Australian flora and landscapes in wearable form.
Established in 2015, the label has become a beloved part of Tasmania’s creative scene, offering unique, stylish designs that celebrate the natural beauty of Australia. And now, through the Regional Program, we’re so excited to welcome them for the first time into The Finders Keepers family.

The Picnic Ground (but it’s bigger!)
Melbourne, you loved our alfresco Picnic Ground return in July. So we’re bringing it back with even more space, more seating, and more delicious treats.
Expect a fresh lineup of food trucks, returning faves, and the perfect place to kick back, eat, drink, and share a meal with friends. This is your foodie home-away-from-home inside the market.

First-Timers
We’re rolling out the welcome mat for a whole new wave of first-time stallholders this October. Keep your eyes on our socials and blog for sneak peeks of the fresh faces joining our community — because there’s nothing quite like discovering your next favourite maker.
