Melbourne AW25 Wrap-up

Melbourne – you showed up, and we’re still buzzing! Our AW25 Melbourne Design Market was an unforgettable weekend celebrating creativity, connection and all things mindfully made. From 11–13 July, the Royal Exhibition Building was warmed with the energy of over 270 designers and makers, an incredible community of stallholders, musicians, families, foodies, and curious treasure-hunters.

The Lineup Brought the Magic

As always, our stallholder lineup was stacked with creativity, from slow fashion and bold jewellery to small-batch ceramics and art prints, and we were blown away by your support for local makers. A huge shoutout to our incredible community of designers who brought colour, conversation, and craftsmanship to every corner of the space.

The Neighbourhood by Food for Everyone

This market, Food For Everyone brought a warm, welcoming corner to the market – a joyful mix of food, art, and play.

We loved seeing your vibrant recipe collages, little (and big!) hands getting creative at the Mindfulness Mural – a celebration of seasonality, sustainability, and solidarity with the growers and neighbours around us – and families hopping their way through giant chalk hopscotch.

Whether you shared a treasured dish on the Community Recipe Wall, exchanged a favourite recipe with a new one, or simply enjoyed a thoughtful chat by the stalls, thank you so much for bringing your warmth and energy to this special space.

Some neighbourhood faves:

  • Angharad’s live portraits were a big hit with market-goers of all ages, capturing faces and hearts in real time.
  • The quirky brilliance of Six-Eyed Scorpion
  • Eye-popping colour from Soof Flash Embroidery
  • Eco creativity from Lousy Ink & Dodgy Paper
  • And the warming aroma of Chai Addict keeps us cosy all weekend
  • Del Bocia always a crowd-pleaser with their melt-in-your-mouth butter.
  • Subtle Tea never fails to draw a crowd with their deliciously deviouse drinks.
  • Lawn Bowls brings the colour and charm with playful glass art that always stops people in their tracks.
  • Ficifolia Fragrance who filling the air (and hearts) with the sweetest of scents.

Some of our New Faces:

Fresh faces, fresh creativity, and a whole bunch more reasons to fall in love with mindfully made.

This weekend, we welcomed some brilliant new makers into the Finders Keepers family, and watching you discover their work was nothing short of magic. From hand-tufted wonders to stop-you-in-your-tracks ceramics, these moments are precisely why we do what we do.

To our newest stallholders: You brought the passion, the personality, and the products — and Melbourne noticed (big time!). We’re beyond thrilled to have you in our creative community.

Here are just a few of the fresh faces Melbourne lapped up:

Live Tunes & Disco Moves

Our Friday DJs kicked things off with energy and groove, setting the tone for the weekend. Saturday and Sunday brought mellow magic with local artists and bands soundtracking your strolls (and spontaneous dance breaks). Thank you to every musician who brought soul and sparkle to the space.
